For this month, I've finally tackled something that I've been planning to incorporate since The House of Noctus' inception. The romance options in THoN are now gender selectable ! Currently you can select if you would like for the ROs to be men or women, but  I also plan on adding a nonbinary option in the coming months. This involves additional changes to the text/code so that things still flow gramatically, so it will take me a bit longer. Regarding coming updates, you can expect to see: 

•  The addition of the Favor sidebar page, where you'll be able to learn more about each House, their history as a formidable Coven in Northwyck, and their standing at The Crimson Court 
• Different flirting style choices. This was suggested to me in a comment on one of my other IFs and I love this idea!  I've always planned on incorporating dominant vs. submissive choices for NSFW scenes, but I really like the idea of customizing other flirting options as well.  (I'm currently tossing around choice options like shy vs. bold, awkward vs. confident, dominant vs. submissive, playful/teasing vs. serious, earnest vs. romantic). I will likely run a poll on tumblr to see which people prefer most over the weekend. Feel free to comment if you have any other suggestions!
  
• The option to select Nonbinary romance options 
• Additional choices  in chapter 1 (not drinking from Lestat/Lucette, staying instead of running when MC is brought to the Mansion, not opening the door for Dimitri/Dhalia, ect.) 
• (Possibly) A map that outlines each House's territory in Northwyck, but alas, art is not my forte, so for now that remains a possibility but nothing concrete. 
  

After my recent writing slump, I decided to focus on coding for this update. This, combined with some amazing advice someone gave me to try writing fun scenario posts, has really helped me to get back into writing and story plotting again :) And I have been having soooo much fun delving into the lore behind each Coven and the cloak-and-dagger politics of The Crimson Court! So the next update will definitely be more content heavy!
